In Shahih Bukhari Hadith Muhammad Rasulullahi Sallallahu Alaihi Owa Sallam said that " There will be 'Gold /Gold Mine' discovered under this 'Furat river' and everyone will run to get it; 99 out of 100 people will be massacred in the contest for acquiring that gold."

Think about it :
1.1400 years ago Gold was the most valuable & precious material one could desire for himself.At that time there was no 'Petroleum Oil'.If Muhammad (SAW) would have mentioned about Petroleum instead of Gold,would anyone have believed Him?
2.1400 years after, Petroleum is much more precious than Gold.The world is now running after the Petroleum. The 'Super Powers' compete/fight each other for Petroleum , not for Gold.
And Remember "Iraq's Oil is the best in this world."
